Elizabeth Babyak, Psy.D., is a New Jersey licensed clinical psychologist. She provides psychotherapy services to adolescents, young adults and adults. Dr. Babyak has a special interest in working with young adults and truly enjoys coming alongside those navigating concerns unique to this season of life. Dr. Babyak also has a clinical interest in relationship difficulties, trauma, women’s issues (infertility, pregnancy, postpartum concerns), and transition to parenthood (parenting challenges). 

Dr. Babyak believes in a warm, thoughtful, collaborative, patient-centered approach that is tailored to each individual’s needs, goals, and wishes for treatment. Developing a strong working relationship by listening deeply and providing genuine empathy is essential to her practice. She is trained in both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Psychodynamic Therapy and utilizes an integrated therapeutic approach to treatment. Dr. Babyak also draws from a variety of sources including empirically-based treatment, attachment theory, family systems concepts, and mindfulness-based strategies.
